Tripp Trapp Trull

In many countries, children play this game which is similar to Tic Tac Toe. In England it is called Noughts and Crosses. In the Philippines it is called Tapatan. Just like Tic Tac Toe you want three in a row.

Number of PlayersYou need 2 to 8 players. I you have any more than 2 players use teams. Equipment You will need a diagram that looks like the one to the right. 18 Player pieces (you can use pennies).

How to Play Look at the diagram and draw your board just like it. The game is played on the 9 points where the lines meet. Players take turns putting their pieces on an empty point. This continues until all three pieces of each player are placed on the game board. Player one moves one piece along a line to the next empty point. The pieces can be moved up or down or diagonally. Jumping over the pieces is not allowed. Player two then does the same.
